Loch Ness, more than a legend to remember!

And yes, that Loch Ness famous place for the legend of monster, the mythical creature ! The place that makes you wonder if really monster exist. Even though for me wasn’t the reason I plan the trip there, still hearing the story make me look at this lake with different eyes and let space for my imagination to play with this idea that at some point something will come out from the water.

If we put aside the legend, you can admire the true beauty of this place, the colors on the water and the green grass that surrounding the lake make this place relaxing and good option for charging your energy in nature.

I remember like was yesterday something that made me change the way I see the colors. When my big sister came for the second time in Italy to visit me, at some point, I ask her meanwhile I was driving in a wild zone fully green if she likes Italy, and her answer stay for a long time in my mind and make me think about the meaning of the colors, she was right. Her answer was : I like Italy, but I like more Romania because the color of the grass is more greener than here. She was right! In Italy the green is beautiful but different than the green in Romania. So for that day on the way I’d look on the colors was different. Yes, it’s still green, but a different shape of green. So the color of the lake it’s a dark blue and that depends a lot of how the sun shining upon the water, the mix of green grass with the green from the trees and the color of the bouts that are on the water makes this place a colorful place and relaxing. Especially if you’re coming from Edinburgh after 3 hours of driving.

When I plan to see the highlights in Scotland, I was traveling by budget so the better option at that time was to book a group tour, from the list of options I choose this one that take us also to the lake. I don’t know if I would choose it only for the lake but after we stop there and I saw this beauty, I was glad that I did book it, I didn’t skip this place!

So if your wondering if you should visit this place I certainly can suggest that you can add it at your itinerary.

There is also a space whit table and sitting bench where you can seat and eat, a few restaurants and a shop where you can buy food, drinks and snacks.

It’s a road that’s surrounding the lake where you can bike, running or simply walking, boats that you can take for a beautiful excursion on the lake and have a better view of the surroundings.
